You can take the stairs to the immediate south by the cable car to get down to the correct level without having to jump or climb. Jump down from the cable car when it stops moving, and continue onwards to the Githyanki Creche, which your map will be referring to as Creche Y'llek. Hop onto the cable car when it arrives and let it take you across the chasm. To use the cable car, you'll need to select the cable car wheel and roll a 15 or higher for a Strength check. This will get you out of potentially having to fight the Githyanki patrol and it will let you continue on your journey, too. The best options to pick when they come up in the dialogue choices are to nod to Lae'zel, telling her to go ahead, and to mouth 'play along' right after that. After a small interaction with them, you'll learn that they're looking for an artefact (which appears to be the one Shadowheart has) and you'll need to guide Lae'zel through this interaction.
